Without making my own adjustments it wouldn’t work for me

"It’s a great idea for sure. My problem is that I’ve had surgery on my nose. The problem with the design is it relies fully on the bendable nose insert to keep it up across your face and nose. I can’t have weight or pulling on my nose and without that it completely exposes my face, as it falls below my chin. There is a solution which would be great if the designers incorporated into this balaclava's. I have attached two sticky Velcro dots either side (near my ears) which I can undo or adjust and that keeps the sun off brilliantly."

"Have not used yet but will in summer especially when walking dog on beach - and probably when driving in late afternoon to protect face from sun coming in window. I have a smallish head so it is a little gappy but other than that the quality is great."

Excellent for tropical outdoor Work

"I am an Agricultural Engineer working in oil palm agriculture in a tropical humid climate in Colombia, with intense sun exposure, very high humidity and temperatures above 36°C [96,8°F]. The Balaclava Face Mask UPF 50+ feels lightweight, breathable and much more comfortable than expected in hot conditions. I especially like the neck coverage and facial protection while working outdoors for long hours. The fabric feels soft on the skin and does not feel excessively hot even under strong sunlight. This is one of the few sun protection products that truly seems designed for real outdoor field conditions and prolonged exposure in tropical environments. Highly recommended for agriculture, hiking, fishing and outdoor activities in hot and humid climates."

Balaclava Face Mask UPF 50+

"The quality in material is very good, it is true to size and I bought this balaclava because it covers almost my entire face and neck from harmful sun exposure on my skin. I wear this with my Solbari sun hat to try to give extra sun protection. There is a small opening to allow for air, however, the material tends to still suction to my nose and blocks air when I am breathing. I end up having to lower the balaclava just below my nose so I can breathe outside in extreme heat."

Been looking for ages for right sun protection

"I spend a lot of time in the sun, camping and am an avid bird watcher. We gout to regional Queensland at lot and have suffered from skin damage. Our dermatologist suggested wearing a snood. I looked for some time and found this snood that fits my needs and appears to a great protection from damaging sun damage."
