"The brim of is perfect for protecting my face, but not so large that it’s in the way. I use this for coverage while gardening and at the beach. The fabric is lightweight, cooling and the fabric is excellent quality. I had an issue with sizing and Solbari was super helpful getting the correct size to me. I will purchase hats from them again."

"I bought this hat for my husband as he has an allotment and needs protection on the back of his neck as well as his face. The allotment is in a very open area with no shade from the sun but also it gets very windy. He does not like hats with straps, but when he saw the strap was removable he was more than happy to try it…. and he now finds he’s more than happy with the strap. The hat is adjustable and combined with the strap he no longer comes home form the allotment with a dent in his head where he had the old hat so tight, and no headache!"

"I get a rash on my face when I get too much sun on it, so I was disappointed that the brim on this hat is not as wide as the described 3. 25 inch brim. I'm measuring closer to 3 inches. The brim also slants down, so you're actually getting something closer to 2. 75 inches of horizontal shading per side. I was hoping this would be an upgrade from my straw ~3 inch brim hat that has no ventilation, but the difference in the amount of sun I get hitting my face has me looking for yet another daily hat. The ventilation on this hat is good though, and even though I got the navy color it's been cooler on my head than my old straw hat. This is in the Texas summer with blazingly sunny days with 90F+ heat and 50%+ humidity. Sizing: I measured my head at 21. 5 inches and as per the size chart a small would be fine, but I think maybe I should have sized up to a medium. It's just a little bit more snug than I like, although it's not tight by any means."
"I bought an Everyday Broad Brim Hat for my partner ahead of a trip to San Sebastian on Spain's Basque coast. Putting the chin strap to good use, it stood up well to the strong sea breezes and it gave him the excellent head and neck protection he had long been looking for in a sun hat but hadn't found in other brands. "After trying several other hat solutions, this appears to be the best choice. You can feel the quality in the material and construction just picking it up. I have a large head and finding a solution to cover my face and neck from the sun has been a challenge. This felt right the first time I put it on. It’s broad enough to provide coverage on my face and neck without being excessive. It’s also a handsome hat, in my opinion. I have found the venting to be adequate on a 95-degree walk, which is not easy. Overall, I’m quite happy."
"Love my new hat / I have a similar heavier design bought in Australia many years ago which I use when there, flat for travelling they’re both great for travelling. In the Uk we historically don’t normally have frequent sunshine - climate changes now means more intense and frequent high temperatures. My new hat is light to carry in a bag and wear. The material is beautiful to the touch, the adjustable features give a great fit. The size is perfect for shading the face and neck."
